STREET AND ROAD MAINTENANCE, PLANTATION AND DUSTBIN INSTALLATIONS.

Removal of non-biodegradable and inorganic waste (Ex: Plastic, Rubber, Cloth, Thermocol, E-waste etc.); Organic & In Organic waste is segregated, processed as manure and recycled as appropriate. Dustbin installations in local community and along-side path to curb waste disposal into the waterbody.
Rain water Harvesting means – ‘Catching and Storing Rain where it falls’. We use simple techniques like recharge pits of collecting rainwater that runs from catchment areas like roofs, pavements, roads, parks, open land etc. and storing it in storage tanks (for immediate use) or in the underground aquifers – natural or man-made for ground water recharge. Thus, rainwater can be stored in tanks and then used for drinking and cooking.
The goal is to educate and generate awareness on key environmental issues and engage youths and community members in conservation of environment and water bodies at the local level. The program primarily is focused to engage local community members including students, youths and members of self-help groups, Panchayats and Municipal Corporations etc. among others, through target-oriented activities and time-bound action, to bring sustainable change.
Plantation is not only about planting saplings, but also how we create saplings, choosing the right variety that is suitable to the native climatic and soil conditions and then nurture them until they become trees.
