Awas Yojna
Objective: To meet the housing requirement of the urban poor/houseless families residing in the city including slums.
This scheme is for urban and rural people, people who have kutcha houses who do not have roof, Awas Yojana is a housing scheme to provide loans at low cost for the house.
The benefit of this scheme will be for those persons who are from economically weaker section and middle class or who do not have their own house. Under this scheme, they will be given their own houses.
Under this scheme, the NGO will complete the work of building houses for the middle class people. Finance assistance up to Rs 5 lakh will be available without interest along with 10% subsidy. In this also the remaining amount can be paid by the scheme holders as per their convenience. In this also the registration fee will be Rs 4250. And it will be mandatory to register 1 year in advance.
